Winners' rosettes

We are proud to announce the finalists of the inaugural Equestrian Creative Network Awards.

The ECN, which started in 2013 and is the brainchild of Liam Killen, provides a single place for creative equestrians to showcase their talents. From PRs and marketers to graphic designers and photographers, artists and advertising specialists to illustrators and web designers, and everything else in between, the ECN provides a place where people can search for creative talent, anywhere in the world. Something made a lot easier through the new ‘Get Quotes’ feature.

“We invited members of the network to submit their content items for consideration,” said Liam Killen. “This year we have six categories, highlighting the great articles, videos and blogs created by members: best ECN portfolio, most informative article on ECN, best ECNLive (or almost live), best use of video, best blog post, and best press release added to the ECN Newswire. We provide a place to showcase the many talents of our members, and creating awards seemed like the obvious next step. We’re really excited to see who wins.”

The finalists have now been selected and judging commenced on 3rd July and closes TODAY, 14th July. The winners will be decided by voting, made up of 50% public voting and 50% peer review by other members of the ECN. The public can vote here.

The winners will be announced on the Equestrian Creative Network Awards Facebook page on 20th July in a special ECNLive.

“We’re really excited to have sponsors offering some awesome prizes for three of the awards,” said Liam. “The winner of most informative article will win a year’s free membership to the new Small & Supercharged VIP membership group (worth £120), hosted by Rhea Freeman. This platform has been created to provide small business owners with information, tools, support and resources to help them promote themselves better, both online and offline, through working with experts from a range of backgrounds.

“The winner of best press release will win a VIP ticket to EBA Live UK, which has a value of £179. Provided by the Equine Business Association, this prize gives the winner front row seating to some amazing speakers who will be covering topics like Facebook ads, lead generation and changing your mindset.

“The winner of the best blog category will win a free advert and promotion for twelve months on Haynet, the equestrian and rural blogging network. Haynet is also the creator of the Country Style and Equestrian Blogger of the Year Awards that have become so popular in the industry.”
