Mackenzie & George’s British made belt collection has grown to include the company’s first ‘cinch’ style, which can be worn on the waist over a dress, and on jeans too.

The design is completely new for Mackenzie and George and was created with brand ambassador Harriet Edwards. The belt features two buckles that face each other, allowing the central ‘cinch section’ to be switched for a smaller or large size (depending on how you want to wear it), or be changed for a different coloured central section to get a contrasting look.

“We’ve been working on this belt for a while, modifying the design to ensure it works with our customers and how they like to wear and use our products,” said Melanie Clarihew from Mackenzie & George. “We’ve designed it to be highly adaptable, allowing the same belt to be worn on the waist to create a flattering silhouette over a dress, or on the waistband of jeans which can sit a lot lower. Because of the design and the size difference between the waist and hips, the central ‘cinch section’ can be switched out for a different size or colour as needed, to give real flexibility.”

The Clifton Cinch is made in the UK, in Mackenzie & George’s Shropshire workshop. The back sections are made using leather, and the cinch sections are made from luxurious suede. Both are finished with solid brass buckles with a light gold finish.

The Clifton Cinch is available in seven sizes in camel/chocolate and navy/navy and retails at £69.99. Additional cinch sections can be purchased in navy or camel suede and can be personalised too. They retail at £29.99.
