ECNLive with equestrian freelance journalist, Samantha Clark

Find out why asking the most stupid question is always the best strategy.

Samantha joined us live at 4pm from her car on her way to the Kentucky Horse Park. Many thanks go to her son, Harry who stood in as cameraman.

Samantha Clark is a roving, freelance equestrian journalist. She splits her time and her loyalties between the US and the UK covering mostly eventing, but turning her hand to almost anything horsey-related. Based in Lexington, Kentucky she contributes features regularly to her local National Public Radio Station, she is excited to be doing the WEG 2018 Podcast again following a fun run with the 2010 version, and she also feels like the elderly matron (her words) of Eventing Nation! Samantha catch rides if the weather is fair, and is getting even fussier about not falling off which means she has been lucky to ride some awesome horses for friends since she officially gave up riding! Samantha frequently hears herself referring to the 'good old days' which makes her want to smack herself, and can't stand it when people refer to themselves in the third person!
