AETA International Winter 2018 Roll Up

Me speaking at AETA

I won't lie, getting a sneak peak at what riders will be wearing, sitting on and caring for their horses with this year is FANTASTIC!

This year's three-day trade show, hosted again in Oaks, PA, offered exhibitors and buyers an advance look at new trends, tack and other product innovations. A parade of fashion and products were offered with the new Products Demo area throughout the day, starting pre-show.

What going to continue to trend up in 2018? Equine technology products.

Equ.la – a US based company that created a wearable poll device that monitors if your horse is behind the bit, on the bit or above it just by changing color. Perfect for beginners that are still learning contact feel or riders without eyes on the ground or mirrors in their practice arena.

Brands were able to do some concentrated PR work with attending media reps with the Pitch Event. In addition, the show organizers kicked off the brand new AETA Gives program on Saturday evening, highlighting non-profits in the equestrian industry as part of the evening networking program. Sunday's session ended with more networking opportunities, drinks, and a chance to meet reknowned eventer, Colleen Rutledge.

As part of the AETA EDGE program this year, I spent four hours presenting topics on how to better utilize Facebook with all of the new changes that have just rolled out, as well as an entire session on Sunday on Top Marketing Tips that can be applied to any equestrian-based business.

If you missed either session, you can snag your copy of the slide decks for reference at the AETA.us website, or contact directly at hello@fullgallopcomm.com
