Creative Equine Marketing Ltd are very excited to form part of a syndicate who have purchased Roche De La Lune, a 4 year mare by Woodlander Rockstar, as part of a long term partnership plan for Team GBR para dressage rider Izzy Palmer.

The young mare who was known to Claire Allmett of Creative Equine, displays the early qualities required for a career in dressage, coupled with a trainable and even temperament absolutely essential for a para horse.

Bred by Mark Butler Dressage in Kent, Luna didn’t quite make the height for her breeder Emma which meant she unexpectedly came onto the market. Under the watchful eye of Izzy’s mentor and trainer, Paralympian Sophie Wells MBE, Luna was purchased and currently in training at Sophie’s home in Lincoln.

“We are very pleased to be part of Izzy’s and Luna’s journey. We have recognised the talent of the team and believe the partnership between Izzy, her trainer Sophie and Luna will be a pleasure to watch develop. As we all know, with horses there are no guarantees but with correct training from Sophie, Izzy’s talent as a rider and Luna’s nature we wish them every success”, said Claire.

Following the British Dressage National Championships Izzy Palmer has recently been identified as a rider ‘who caught the judges eye’ by Horse and Hound whilst taking the overall Gold Para Dressage Championship title riding Sophie Wells Touchdown. Izzy Palmer is part of the Team GBR World Class Podium Potential Squad that recognises medal winning potential and facilitates rider development and progression.
