Jon Stroud is an internationally renowned photographer specialising in all aspects of equestrian sport including dressage, show jumping and eventing and is official photographer for the British Equestrian Federation, Equestrian TeamGBR and the British Horse Society.

Although based at his studio in the Herefordshire countryside, he is frequently to be found working on assignment throughout the UK, Europe and across the world.

Enjoying close support from Nikon Professional Services, his work is frequently to be found on the cover and in the pages of Horse & Hound, Horse & Rider, Horse Magazine, L'Eperon, St Georg and many more. His extensive coverage of the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games made the front pages and feature coverage of newspapers and magazines not only the United Kingdom (The Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sun, Daily Mail) but across Europe and the World (Het Laaste Nieuws, de Morgen, De Standaard). At Rio2016, Jon was the official photographer for no less than thirteen national federations including those of Great Britain, Australia, Italy.

With a background in high-end commercial and advertising photography followed by fourteen years of experience working with the United Kingdom's premier publishing houses and retail outlets, he can offer a unique, commercially aware approach to any project.

Jon is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists and British Equestrian Writers' Association and a full UKPCA Press Card holder (the only press accreditation recognised by ACPO).
